Typical job openings include but are not limited to the following: Accounting Specialists - Job tasks include order entry, billing, and accounts receivable collection. Need basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with procurement. Effective communication skills, PC literacy required. Buyers - One to seven years of experience should include the purchasing of PC hardware, software and peripherals. The purchasing of electronic parts in a manufacturing environment also helpful. FAR experience a plus. CAD Designers/Drafters - Develops detailed design drawings and related specifications in a variety of fields including but not limited to: Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Architectural, Aerospace, Civil, Facilities, HVAC and Piping. Configuration Management Specialists - Configuration Management/Document Control experience in a manufacturing environment. Competence in workflow management necessary. Database Administrators (DBA's) - Must have 3-10 years of Relational Database experience with 1-2 years as a DBA in one of several environments. Database capacity planning, database users and roles creation and monitoring. Oracle, Informix, Access, etc. Electrical Engineers - Serve as the focal point for all electrical design/engineering responsibilities, including analog/digital circuit design, prototyping, and troubleshooting innovative custom products for test equipment and instrumentation. Electro-Mechanical Assemblers - Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems. SMT and/or thru-hole experience a plus. Certifications (NASA, Mil-STD) a plus. Executive/Administrative Assistants - PC literate (Windows, MS Office) and able to interface with many levels of management. General skills for secretarial support must include excellent typing, spelling, proofreading, filing, documentation organization and good interpersonal and telephone skills. Expediters/Material Handlers/Shipping and Receiving Clerks - Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, determine method of shipment, and prepares items for shipment. Assists in workflow management. Graphic Artists/Illustrators - Design and create computer-generated graphics for use in advertising, training, web-related activities and other miscellaneous computer and print-based collateral. Help Desk - Level 1 and 2 support. Proven Help Desk or Customer Service background (minimum 1-2 years), call volume experience, data input into tracking database, support users over the phone and at the desktop, working knowledge of all Windows operating systems. Installation Coordinators - Order tracking for all customer sites. Must have good customer service skills, be able to work with database systems, and would like to see technical/telecommunications background. Project management skills would also be helpful. IT Trainers - Work as a contributing member of a technology training team. Required qualifications include: four year university degree, prior work experience as an active member of a technology and/or a training team, experience in curriculum development and writing course manuals. Machinists - Sets up and operates a variety of machine shop equipment including but not limited to: lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, drill, punch and break presses, etc. CNC experience is helpful but not necessary. Mail Technicians - Receives, processes, and delivers all categories of US Postal Services mail and internally transmitted mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail for US postal Service. Sorting and delivering of classified materials may be required. Network Engineers - Top level professional in the area of network systems analysis, design, and administration. Troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain network servers and workstations. Evaluate and improve system performance, manage user and mail accounts. Certifications a plus. Network Provisioners - Turn up trunks and routes to customer PBX inter and intralata for call routing as well as 911 and operator services. Incorporate processes and procedures that help in improving the provisioning process. PC Technicians - One year experience in assembly, installation and field service or bench repair of IBM PCs and installation of software packages. Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and resolve problems regarding PC hardware, software, network cabling, network drivers, printers, and viruses. Production Planners - Assist in the daily planning and movement of hardware products through the manufacturing, inspection, test and shipping areas to meet established delivery schedules. Compiles and releases prepared manufacturing documentation, including work orders, operation sheets, and design documentation to the production floor. Quality Inspectors - Inspect various components such as printed circuit boards, wire harnesses and final products. Military inspection experience a plus. Receiving, in-process and final inspection positions. Quality Engineers - Interact with engineering, production, configuration management, and program management staff on a daily basis and periodically with customers and subcontractors. Participation in design development, manufacturing, and testing, discrepancy review and approval; failure investigations; cause and corrective action determinations; contract reviews; procurement review and approval; internal and external reporting. Radio Frequency Engineers - Must have a background in circuit and system design for amplifiers, oscillators. Qualified individual must also be accomplished in leading system testing. Experience in wide band A/D D/A conversion desirable. Repair Technicians - Install upgrades, incorporate rework, troubleshoot to the component level. Must be able to use all common test equipment. Electronics schooling, Military experience and/or prior experience a must. Site Acquisition Engineers - Background in RF Engineering, microwave site analysis, cable attenuation, some knowledge of modulators, demodulators, etc. Line of sight work coinciding with RF and microwave experience. Software Engineers - Full life cycle software development. Experience with object oriented design and programming methodologies; software development tools and debugging tools; and knowledge of software construction techniques. Requires a BS degree or higher in Computer Science. Subcontract Administrators - Cradle to grave administration. From preparation of the solicitation package to contract close-out. Work in conjunction with program management to assure contract compliance, maintain budget and schedule and technical performance. Switch Engineers - Maintaining switch integrity and assisting in the upgrade and/or reconfiguration, alarm/maintenance resolution and the test and acceptance of DSO to DS3 services. Prior experience in telecommunications to include an in-depth knowledge of Nortel translations and hardware as well as current transmission and switching technologies. Experience with Power Plant testing, Voice Mail, LAN/WAN, ATM and PC technology a plus. Technical Support Engineers - Responsible for troubleshooting customer problems and providing solutions via the telephone. Greater than 2 years experience in troubleshooting, testing and configuration of various type of telecommunications systems equipment. Customer support experience desired. BSEE desired. Technical Writers - Demonstrated user guide development, familiarity with task analysis, ability to communicate with engineering teams. Develop outlines from functional and design specifications. Telecommunications Field Technicians - Responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, customer activation/deactivations of Field Service network elements. This position will execute the timely installation of equipment additions and/or modifications and execute all preventive maintenance routines. Interprets and acts on facility and service orders for the provisioning of network and customer services. Determines causes for equipment failures and use various types of complex test equipment. Test Engineers - Work on site to design functional test equipment and software. Read, interpret, and analyze schematics for digital logic interface. Develop test plan and procedures from schematics, functional specification. Design test fixture including specifying of test equipment, design of custom interface board(s) as required. Test Technicians - Under minimal supervision, candidate will perform set up, testing and component level troubleshooting of electronic components. Connect electronic assembly, component, or part to test instrument, such as Ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, Resistance Bridge, or oscilloscope, or to automated or computerized test equipment. Unix Systems Administrators - Responsible for the set-up, configuration, and administration of high volume and maximum availability systems. Internet protocol, router technology and disaster recovery knowledge important. Web Developers - Looking for candidate with experience in designing, implementing, and testing web based applications using the latest web technology and development environments. |
